A message from Diane Steward, Founding Executive Director…
For the past 13 years, it has been my joy and my privilege to serve as executive director at Lahai Health. God has used this clinic—and you—to transform my life. I am not the same woman I was when I began in 2003.
For these reasons and more, it is with mixed emotions that I share with you that my time at Lahai Health has come to an end. For almost a year, I have sensed God calling me elsewhere. As a result, the Lahai Health board and I have agreed that it is time for a new executive director to take Lahai Health forward.
While I don’t know exactly where God will eventually have me serve and love others, I do know that He is now calling me to a season of spiritual renewal and refreshment in Mexico. I am so grateful for your generosity, kindness, and love in helping to support me in this next step in my walk with God here on earth.
I wish I could spend a few minutes with each of you—staff, board, volunteers, partners, and donors—to express how much I love you and value your support and friendship over the years. Perhaps our paths will cross soon.
In the meantime, know that I am praying for all of you at Lahai Health.

Dear Friends of Lahai Health,
After 13 years of dedicated and faithful service as Lahai Health’s Executive Director, Diane Steward, is now moving on to other ministry opportunities. We are very grateful for Diane’s heart and passion for this outreach. Because of her work, thousands of underserved patients have received free medical and dental care, which has been provided in the name of Jesus. We wish Diane and her family all the best in the future as they seek the Lord’s will for their lives.
In this season of transition, we now look forward to continuing the vital work of caring for the needy people in the Seattle area. We believe the Lord has a mission for us to serve His people and our hope is that thousands more will be touched in a special way by Lahai Health.
